I have been very pleased with my Descent PFD. I have had several chances to use it over the past few months.

First off the quality is second to none. I have had several other PFD's that quickly developed holes, thread loss, broken zippers, etc. This Jacket has seen several months of hard use and is in the same condition that i bought it.

I really enjoy the side enntry. The front pocket is large enough to hold a pin kit, bar, and waterproof camerea. The shoulder strapping definitely adds protection,but the rough exterior helps gripp your boat while shouldering it around rapids.

Over all i rate this as the best Rescue PFD on the market. I have owned both the Astral Green and 200 also. The Stohlquist is definitely better quality and more functional. I have no affiliation with Stohlquist.
